what is this about?

french cooking is very simple, at least mine, it's  all about fun, love and share .

 

every meal should start with a french tradition named APERITIF

traditionally aperitif , or more casual APERO , is a drink  seRved before lunch or dinner .his purpose is to open one's appetit. it  can be cocktail, white wine, but please, no beer, you need to save room for food .

it s now used for  all the food that can be served before meal, the concept is close to spanish tapas, or russian zakouski. it can be peanuts, potato chips, olives,.... but also more fancy food called amuse bouche.

finally, aperitif  became a word to design a moment you spend with your friends having a drink and snacks . it usually happens at home, one of the french favourite expression is  "viens prendre l apero a la maison !!!" let's  have apero at my place!!! at least it s one of mine with some others not related to cooking!!!!

 

 you will find here a lot of recipes , from aperitif to dessert .

we ll go from long slow cooking stews, to made from scratch risotto, we ll cook fish, meat, poultry, duck,

of course there will be a special treat for chocolate, and salted butter caramel.
